In this class you will learn how to create a design with just thread on a single piece of plain fabric. You will learn how to create a good design and the techniques to make it pop off the fabric. We will discuss fabric choice, batting, thread, marking, and technique.

This class is appropriate for a confident beginner to intermediate quilter motivated to do machine quilting. You will be making one of the two Sunflower quilts Jo's designed, but will discuss the use of stencils and ideas for making your own design.

Pre-requisite: You must have taken Jo's beginning free-motion class, OR equivalent, OR feel comfortable with free-motion quilting and your sewing machine.
